Finally the big day has come and his fans are waiting for the audio to be out. Don’t express a question mark look guys, we are talking about the much awaited audio of the season Vaanam.

Yes the audio launch of Simbu starrer Vaanam is going to take place today evening sharp 5.00pm. Reasons not known but the audio launch is going to be a low affair as the filmmakers organized only a press meet. The shooting is almost completed and recently a peppy number was shot on Simbu and Anushka at AVM studios in Chennai. Vaanam release date is scheduled on April 9th, 2011 worldwide.

Yes, literally Silambarasan should be on Cloud Nine as his latest flick Vaanam has been taken up by one of the major productions and distributions houses in the business today, Cloud Nine Movies. The talkie portions of Vaanam are through and the wait is on for the audio launch which will be announced shortly. The single from this album was already launched a few months ago and this has raked up the expectations for the other songs which are also set to tune by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vaanam’s audio launch is scheduled to be held on March 6th, 2011 and music buffs are waiting with bated breath as the music for this album is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who belts out the best for Silambarasan. The single released from this album a few months ago – Evan di unna pethan – turned into a chartbuster, it may be mentioned here. In the album that is to be released, there are seven songs, sources say, and out of these two songs have been sung by Vaanam’s hero Silambarasan. Vaanam is directed by Krish and has Anushka playing Silambarasan’s lead pair in it.

Sneha Ullal was roped in as one of the two heroines in the Silambarasan-starrer Vaanam. But now we hear that she is not a part of the film and debutant Jasmine has stepped into her shoes. The decision to cast Jasmine in place of Sneha was apparently made in the last moment, as the film itself is gearing up for release in April. Though there is no clear reason given as to why Sneha was replaced, it is being said that replacement was very easy as her role was a very short one. Director Krish did not have any qualms over re-shooting some of the scenes with Jasmine due to this, sources report.

It is indeed disappointing for Silambarasan fans as his much anticipated Vaanam will not be released on the Valentine weekend. Silambarasan is banking heavily on the project after the success of VTV last year and was keen on releasing it at the same time (in February). But it is now learnt that he has developed foot corns and has been advised immediate medical surgery. Though the surgery will be over within a day's time, doctors have advised bed rest for two weeks. A visibly upset Silambarasan is ruing the fact that two of the movie's songs are still pending which were to be shot in Chennai. Music for Vaanam is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the solo song, which was released recently, is a hit among the youth.
